Events 2012

Snowdrop Season
From mid Jan to end of February (weather dependant)

The Snowdrop Glade at the Rococo Garden is one of the largest collections of naturalised Galanthus nivalis in the United Kingdom whilst the Red House Wilderness Borders hold one of the largest single planting of Galanthus Atkinsii

Snowdrop Talks
Every Wednesday and Friday in February at 12.00 and 15.00

Paul Hervey- Brookes, award winning Chelsea Garden Designer and co-owner of Box Court Plants will be introducing the Rococo Garden, talking about the history and some of the snowdrop varieties in the Garden. The talks take 20 mins and will be on the Bowling Green. The talk is free once entrance to the Garden had been paid.

Wedding Fayre
Sunday 15th April

Our first Wedding Fayre of the year in conjunction with Idyllic Creations. Special garden admission for couples on the day of £2.00 per person on presentation of voucher available from Idyllic Creations.

Outdoor Theatre
Tuesday 17th - Saturday 21st July

For the first year since their annual open air production began here, the Rococo Players have chosen not to perform Shakespeare. Their choice for 2012 is Sheridan's amusing play 'The Rivals'. The play begins each evening at 7.30pm, with the grounds opening for picnics from 6.00pm. Tickets will be available in Spring 2012 from the Rococo Players own website.

Art in the Garden
1st August - 31st August

This major event is now in its third year and is attraction both local and internationally renowned artists. Over 70 pieces will be on display throughout the grounds. More information is on our dedicated website.
