The Garden of Lost Things

The Garden of Lost Things

With just a few days to go until the end of the long school summer holidays, our Garden is an ideal spot to bring the family, meet friends and let your imagination and feet roam free, whatever your age!  Whether navigating the maze, having a pretend tea party in the Hermitage, playing hide and seek in the nooks and crannies, racing up hills or simply playing in our rustic woodland playground, we love to see people enjoying this gorgeous place.

We've put together a brand new trail for this summer with local illustrator Hannah Shaw.  Young adventurers will set out on a journey to help our very own Snowdrop Bunny find all the items her friends have lost around the Garden.  Along the way, you'll all learn some fascinating facts about the animals that call this Garden home.  There's some puzzling to be done once you've found all of the lost items, and as a reward for your detective work, there's a prize to win.  And best of all, it's free of charge.  The trail runs every day until 2 September, 10.30am-4.30pm.

With free parking, freshly-ground coffee and delicious homemade cakes in our cafe, a visit to the Garden should be a treat for all ages.  And we're dog-friendly throughout - so bring everyone with you!
