The leaves really are turning golden and brown and the crisp mornings are upon us... after a few false starts, autumn (we think) is properly here now!
We've a brand new half term family trail at the Garden which will guide you round a selection of our magnificent trees. We are home to a wide variety of native species, all looking lovely at this time of year. Our quiz will guide you around, and you'll learn some intruiguing facts as you collect the clues together. As always, there's a prize at the end - and best of all, there's no additional charge! Many thanks to our very good friend Britta at Nature Connections Glos for her help in devising the trail.
If you're visiting with children, you might be interested to read about our Roctober promotion. We've admitted tens of rock-carrying children for free so far this month and have spotted some beautifully-painted rocks hidden around the Garden. We've extended the offer until Sunday 4th November, so plan your visit soon and don't miss out!
Almost all of the produce we've grown this year has been picked and if you're lucky, you may find goodies for sale at the front of the Cafe.
If this weren't enough, there are the simple delights of a brisk walk on a chilly morning in gorgeous surroundings, and a refreshing hot drink and homemade cake afterwards. We look forward to seeing you!
