It's probably the best way to get in a Christmassy mood that we can think of. After the success of last year's event, we are planning an even bigger and better Carol Concert this year, on Friday 6 December.
Join us in Painswick's historic Parish Church at 6.30pm for an uplifting evening of music and readings. Featuring the voices of local readers and some of the area's finest musicians, this is a chance to join us for a celebration of this most wonderful time of the year.
There will be seasonal readings, lusty singing of classic Christmas carols and solo items from local soprano Hannah Scott and the Coro Camino choir. And best of all, admission is free and the concert is open to all.
There'll be a chance to donate to our charity as you leave, but there are no tickets required - simply turn up on the night. Please don't leave it too late, though, as seating is limited and we're expecting it to be busy! We start at 6.30pm and we will be finished by 8pm at the very latest. This is perfectly timed for a nice meal at one of Painswick's fabulous eateries - why not come with some friends and make a night of it?
