We're very excited that Adrian Gray's stunning stonebalancing sculptures are now installed in the Garden for July and August. Adrian is the pioneer of stonebalancing art. He creates balancing sculptures using weathered stone, constructing and placing them in natural locations to capture their transient beauty. He comes to us fresh from the 2017 RHS Chelsea Flower Show, where he won five gold stars.
Over the past 16 years Adrian's work has evolved to include new ideas and themes, but the predominant feature remains the beauty and seemingly impossible and puzzling nature of balance. Adrian has made numerous television appearances, on The One Show, Grand Designs and BBC Coast to name a few.
Adrian commented: "The Rococo Garden will be an idyllic setting for my work because of its stunning mix of views, architecture and landscape. I'm excited to be able to bring my work to such a high-profile Garden - and of course I'm hoping to sell a couple of them."
There's a chance to meet Adrian when he demonstrates his art here in the Garden this coming Thursday, 6th July, between 11am and 5pm. There's no additional charge. For more information, visit www.stonebalancing.com.
