26 – 31 December, 10 – 4pm.

**Pre-booking required for this week** (see information below)

If you’re looking for an escape from the excesses of the season and some fresh air, where better than the beauty and tranquillity of Painswick Rococo Garden? As the UK’s only complete surviving rococo garden, you’ll happen across fanciful garden follies designed to surprise and delight, and beautifully-framed views across the magical valley setting. Watch your family and friends battle to find the centre of our unusual maze or lose yourself amongst the lofty trees of the woodland walk. The Garden is the perfect place for all generations to relax and unwind together – young explorers will love the Christmas-themed trail and the rustic woodland play area. Dogs on short leads are welcome to join in the fun too!

It is recommended you allow at least two hours for your visit, plus time to relax in the Coach House Café. The Café will be serving light lunches, delicious cakes, freshly-ground coffee, marshmallow- and cream-topped hot chocolate and a selection of speciality teas.  Parking is free and the shop will also be open with a range of local and seasonal products available.

**To help manage numbers and keep visitors informed about potential bad weather closures, we are asking for people to pre-book if they wish to visit during this special week of opening (26-31 December). A booking page will be available on our website from 1 December.**

The seasonal trail, created by local author and illustrator Hannah Shaw, will cost 50p in addition to the admission cost – this includes a small prize. Ask for a trail sheet when you arrive at the Welcome Desk.
