This Christmas, step into a world of wonder at our newly-transformed Enchanted Garden.
As dusk falls, the Garden transforms into a twinkling wonderland, charmingly lit up to captivate visitors of all ages.
Prepare for an enchanted evening, where every corner holds a surprise.
A Tale of Twinkling Lights and Mystical Creatures
Enter the Garden, and you’ll be greeted by a glittery display of lights that bring the Garden to life in the most magical way.
The night sky becomes a backdrop for a host of mythical creatures waiting to meet you and make this Christmas unforgettable. The Garden is quiet, yet alive with magic. If you stop and listen carefully, you can hear wildlife whispering secrets and the gentle babble of the stream guiding you into the mysterious woodland.
Soon, you’ll realise… this is no ordinary Garden. This is the realm of boggarts, fairies and dragons!
During your stroll along winding pathways and through subtly-lit woodland, you’ll encounter graceful fairies twirling among the giant dandelions, their wings shimmering; look out for playful boggarts, their tricks and pranks adding fun and surprising you!
Encounter majestic unicorns with glowing horns and gentle presence—a truly awe-inspiring sight. And meet our welcoming dragons, whose warm, glowing breath and kind eyes will charm you.
Tickets cost £9 for children over 4 years old and £17 for adults (including Friends of the Garden and RHS members).
Children under 4 are free and do not require a ticket.
Sensory Sensitive sessions are available at 4pm on 30 November, 1, 12, 19 December.
Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome to join the fun too—after all, we wouldn’t want them to miss out on the Christmas magic!
Numbers are strictly limited to ensure a relaxed experience. As a result, we expect them to sell out fast. Book your tickets today.
Seasonal Delights & Christmas Shopping
To make your visit even more magical, we’ll be serving winter warmers such as mulled wine and cider as well as marshmallow-topped hot chocolates.
And we highly reccomend our very own recipe of locally reared pork sausages from Portway Farm Shop, served in a brioche bun. Gluten-free and vegan options will also be available.
In the shop, you will find gorgeous locally-sourced gifts, including a range of food and drinks made with produce from the Garden.
