You may have visited our beautiful willow-sculptured friends during the summer holidays… now brand new for this year is the unique opportunity to see them charmingly lit up by night. Come and make memories this Christmas as you meet dancing fairies, mischievous boggarts, magical unicorns and friendly dragons, all elegantly illuminated against the background of our beautiful Garden.
Painswick Rococo Garden is a hidden gem in the Cotswolds. Designed in the eighteenth century as a garden to enthral and delight, it is home to intriguing follies, winding pathways and surprises around every corner. A visit after dark in the company of our illuminated trail of fairy-tale friends is a magical treat not to be missed.
Wrap up warm and gather friends and family to enjoy a special evening discovering the Enchanted Garden By Night. Numbers are strictly limited to ensure a relaxed family experience. We’ll also be serving delicious seasonal treats and winter warmers such as marshmallow-topped hot chocolates and mulled wine for the grown-ups. And our shop will be open for locally-sourced gift ideas and our own range of food and drink, made with produce from the Garden.
Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome to join in the Christmas fun too – we wouldn’t want them to miss out.
Tickets are only £8 for children and £15 for adults. Hurry as we expect them to sell fast and pre-booking is ESSENTIAL!

The Garden is set in a valley with some steep and uneven pathways. Regrettably this means it is not particularly accessible. If you have any accessibility concerns, please call us to discuss 01452 813204. The Garden is not suitable for motorised wheelchairs or scooters.
Robust pushchairs will make it round the trail route (with a bit of muscle and puff) but slings are advisable.
Painswick Rococo Garden Friends, RHS and HH cardholders do not qualify for free admission to The Enchanted Garden By Night trail. Gardeners’ World 2 for 1 and Blue Light Cards are also not accepted during our later opening hours for the light trail.
