23 July – 4 September, 10-5pm, daily.
This summer, come and escape to our Enchanted Garden – a world of dancing fairies, fiery dragons and mischievous woodland boggarts. Our eighteenth-century pleasure garden was created to enthral and delight and now there are even more magical surprises around every corner. Let your imagination and feet run wild as you explore the twists and turns of the Garden, discovering charming follies, enchanting woodlands and a puzzling maze. Be on the lookout as our fairy-tale friends, beautifully sculptured in willow, could be hiding anywhere. Who will you encounter first?
The family trail runs throughout the school summer holidays and is included in the admission prices below. All children aged 4-10 will receive an Enchanted Garden trail pack comprising a book, map, wish ribbon and crayons. Members of the Rococo Garden Friends, Historic Houses and RHS with valid cards will be admitted free of charge as usual – you can purchase a trail pack for £2 each if you would like one. And don’t forget that dogs are very welcome throughout the site (apart from the Kitchen Garden).
Get really immersed and feel free to dress up – fairies, dragons and unicorns will fit in perfectly! We’d love to see your Enchanted Garden pictures so don’t forget to tag us! (sturdy shoes are a must to fully explore the Garden.)
