2024 opening
Our opening days and times vary throughout the year, please check the information carefully below. Last entry to the Garden is an hour before it closes.
January: we reopen 20 Jan, daily, 10 – 5pm
February: daily, 10 – 5pm
March to September: Wed – Sun, 10 – 5pm. During Gloucestershire school holidays we are open daily, please see dates listed below.
October: Thu – Sun, 10 – 5pm
November: Sat – Sun, 10 – 4pm
Daily opening for school holidays: 25 Mar – 5 April, 6 May (Bank Holiday) & 27 – 31 May, 22 Jul – 30 Aug & 28 Oct – 1 Nov

We recommend you allow at least two hours for your visit, plus time for refreshments and browsing the gorgeous goodies in our gift shop. And yes, we do welcome dogs on short leads.
Admission prices
Rococo Garden season ticket holder FREE. Membership prices start from only £35, click here for details.
We also welcome members of: Historic Houses (HH) all year round, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and Gardeners’ World 2 for 1 cards are valid every day from 1 March – including bank holidays. We offer NHS Blue Light Card holders 20% discount on admission prices, please bring your card with you and show it on arrival.
*If you are a UK taxpayer, please consider paying the Gift Aid price which includes a donation of at least 10% of your admission fee. As a registered charity no.1107844 this will allow us to reclaim the tax you have paid on the whole amount.
Your donation is worth an additional 25p in the pound to help us with our work.
How to find us
By train: our nearest station is Stroud (5 miles). Trainline is a useful website.
By bus: Stagecoach service 66 from Cheltenham to Stroud via Brockworth (Mon-Sat), Our nearest stop is Pullens Road. Service 166 on Sundays.
On foot: we’re just off the Cotswold Way, in beautiful countryside, and well signposted from the corner of Golf Course Road and Gloucester Road.
By bike: cyclists are very welcome. We don’t have bike racks but you’re welcome to lock your bike near the café. We’re surrounded by hills so you’ll have earned a slice of homemade cake by the time you reach us!
Food and drink
We really appreciate your support and continued visits and for bearing with us whilst we transition to our new home.
Getting around
The steepest slopes all have handrails, and there are 45 benches dotted around the Garden for when you need to rest. The Garden isn’t suitable for motorised scooters, bikes or children’s scooters.
