If you’ve visited recently, you may have noticed that the Exedra (white crown structure) is in need of some TLC. This is one of the key structures in the Garden and has been hit by weather damage, particularly the cold and frost of last winter. We are really pleased that with the contributions from our wonderful visitors, we now have the funds to start the restoration job and are planning to repair and repaint the Exedra over the next few weeks. This does mean that it will be scaffolded from 9 October, with the aim that the work will be finished by late-October – weather permitting, of course. Our aim is that it will be looking bright and crisp in time for our glorious show of autumn colours.

Without visitors, the ongoing work of our little Charity wouldn’t be possible. Every penny we make helps to keep our unique slice of the Cotswolds looking blooming marvellous. Thank you!

Update: 23 November, the work is now complete and the scaffolding has come down.
