The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home has dedicated over 80 years to caring for vulnerable animals in our community. Operating in Gloucestershire, they annually assist over 1000 animals in need. They pair pets with loving families and provide veterinary care for pets of financially challenged families through their reduced-cost clinics, ensuring no animal suffers due to financial constraints.
In May, we are teaming up with this incredible charity to host their popular family dog show! Come and enjoy a delightful stroll through our enchanting Garden, and as a bit of extra fun, you can enter your furry friends into various dog show classes:
- Prettiest girl (all female dogs) at 12 pm
- Most handsome male (all male dogs) at 12:30 pm
- Cutest pup (1 year and younger) at 1 pm
- My best friend and me (children with their dogs) at 1:30 pm
- Best in show (winners of previous classes) at 2:30 pm
The event will also feature a range of family activities, including children’s games and crafts. Each dog show class entry costs £2, and a small fee will be charged for children’s activities.
The best news is – you get to have a fun day out and support two local charities at the same time! All funds raised from the dog show and activities will go to support the work of the Cotswolds Dogs and Cats Home, and the cost of Garden admission supports the wonderful work we do as a charity – preserving heritage, protecting habitats and providing a place to connect with nature. We’ll also donate 10% of our admissions total to the CDCH.
